Runners, to your marks!

After presenting at Military Mentors eMMissary Cohort 4 final session, this project is now moving toward something more public and actionable. After six months of incubation during the eMMissary fellowship, it feels great to be hitting this point.

One of the first major tasks is creating a mechanism for people to learn about the project and why it may appeal to them. Envisioned as a simple website (this one), it should include a background on the project, some resources and associated research, a page where people can sign-up to learn more, and a blog for updates.

At the writing of this post, the skeleton is complete, so we are off to a good start!

Next steps for the website include:

• Adding to the Research page to capture some of the most helpful quotes and documents.

• Sharing a simple story in the About page that captures the project's origin and purpose.

• Creating a simple form for sign-ups on the Join page.

If all goes according to plan, we should be able to start launching some masterminds in June 2022, with the goal of launching at most one a month for about six months across different groups in the military, government, and maybe some hybrid options with non-profits or industry.
